Southern Forests Freshwater
Angling Club Inc.

The Southern Forests Freshwater Angling Club (SFFAC) is an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation based in the heart of Western Australia’s Southern Forests. Our club is more than a community of anglers, it’s a hub for shared passion and lifelong friendships built through a love of freshwater fishing.

About Our Club

The Southern Forests Freshwater Angling Club (SFFAC) is a passionate community of freshwater fishing enthusiasts. We proudly support the endeavours of the Australian Trout Foundation (WA Branch, FAWA). Together, we strive to promote and improve our freshwater fishery here in WA.

We host the Yearly Southern Forests Trout Festival along with Members fishing events and Anglers meet and greets. Providing members with the opportunity to refine their techniques in a friendly and supportive setting.

Many of our members are skilled in fly tying, often sharing new ideas along with innovative techniques. Our ranks also include dedicated lure anglers who are eager to pass on their expertise.

SFFAC has exclusive access to a locally stocked dam, offering the perfect environment for introducing newcomers to freshwater fishing and improving casting skills.

Alongside our monthly committee meetings, we organise social events, fishing trips, friendly competitions, and other activities to strengthen camaraderie among members.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or just starting out, we welcome you to join SFFAC and be part of a vibrant and supportive fishing community.
